Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
This jobholder will be responsible for ensure efficient performance of the assigned Product
with effective supervision of the sales team activities while maintaining strong business
relationships with the client.also assist the Branch Managers in hiring and training of the sales team

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Detailed description of the tasks performed by the job holder
a) Recruit new sales reps continuously through a recruitment strategy to achieve the set
target of sales representatives.
b) Train new sales reps and continuous product review to enhance product knowledge for
the sales team to ensure that they are well equipped with the product knowledge and
selling skills necessary needed to deliver in their role.
c) Supervise the sales reps on daily and weekly activity on agreed sales plans to ensure they
are meeting the targets on both prospects and sales.
d) Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team by accompanying them to the field and
activations to maintain a high energized and a vibrant team.
e) Identify new market streams by getting the right and suitable quotes for activation while
ensuring that conversion are made to justify returns on investment.
f) Manage the attrition rate of the reps though proper and coordinated training to ensure
that the desired targets of sales reps is achieved per branch.
g) Monitor execution of action plans of the sales team and supervise daily and weekly sales
h) Support marketing activities and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and
telemarketing.
i) Carryout regular appraisals of the team in line with the company set performance
standards and schedules.
j) Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and
information to inform decisions.
