Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to oversee and execute sales-focused marketing strategies for small and medium enterprises (SME) sales programs. This role will combine digital marketing expertise with event management skills to promote and activate sales training programs, webinars, workshops, and live events targeting SMB sales teams. You will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving engagement, and delivering measurable results through both online campaigns and in-person/virtual activations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Marketing Strategy Development:
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote SMB sales training programs, events, and activations.
Create and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid ads, SEO, and content marketing to drive awareness and engagement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, and Training teams) to ensure marketing efforts align with program goals and sales objectives.
Event Marketing & Activations:
Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual and in-person events (e.g., webinars, workshops, product demos, conferences) focused on SME sales enablement and training.
Oversee the logistics and execution of activations, including partnerships with vendors, influencers, and event platforms.
Manage event promotion through digital channels, ensuring consistent messaging and effective audience targeting.
Drive post-event follow-ups, lead nurturing, and conversion strategies.
2. Content Creation & Campaign Execution:
Develop engaging and persuasive digital content (blog posts, newsletters, landing pages, social media posts, and video) to support marketing initiatives for SMB sales programs.
Lead the creation of compelling sales enablement materials, such as case studies, success stories, and thought leadership content, to increase program adoption and credibility.
Monitor and optimize digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with budget, timelines, and KPIs.
3. Performance Tracking & Analytics:
Analyze digital marketing and event metrics (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, event attendance) to assess campaign effectiveness.
Provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership, recommending adjustments to strategy based on data-driven insights.
Use A/B testing and other techniques to optimize campaigns for better performance and higher ROI.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with sales and customer success teams to understand their needs and create marketing strategies that support SME sales teams.
Partner with external vendors, agencies, and influencers to amplify marketing efforts and extend reach.
Serve as the point of contact for all event-related inquiries and manage cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
4. Brand Awareness & Community Building:
Build relationships with key SME community influencers, media outlets, and partners to strengthen the brand’s presence in the market.
Foster an engaged digital community by creating and maintaining relevant content across online platforms and forums.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years focused on event management and activations.
Proven experience in running digital marketing campaigns, from strategy to execution, particularly for SME-focused sales programs.
Strong background in managing virtual and in-person events, including logistics, marketing, and post-event analysis.
Experience working with marketing automation tools, email platforms, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
Skills & Competencies:
Solid understanding of SME sales processes, customer journey, and lead generation tactics.
Exceptional content creation skills with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Expertise in digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to SME audiences.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation systems (e.g., Marketo, Mailchimp).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Digital Marketing, Event Management, or similar fields (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot).
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, or data visualization platforms.
Experience with video marketing and production for events, webinars, and promotional content.
Background in the tech or SaaS industry is a plus.
