About the Client

Our Client is an interior decor supplies company based in Nairobi with a mission to transform spaces with designs that inspire and elevate hearts and minds. Our products are high-quality, beautiful, and affordable serving corporate and individual clients.

Purpose of the Role
The Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of interior installation projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. This role involves close coordination with sales teams, fundis (technicians), and logistics to optimize operational efficiency and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1. Invoicing and Accounts Receivable
Ensure invoices are sent immediately after site handover.
Follow up on payments promptly and send regular statements to credit accounts.
2. Job Management and Coordination
Receive and process jobs from sales teams, capturing all client and project details.
Assign tasks to fundis within 10 minutes and ensure timely communication to all stakeholders.
3. Logistics and Dispatch
Plan and manage deliveries efficiently, ensuring materials are well-packaged and delivered on time.
Coordinate waybills and provide clients with driver details for tracking purposes.
4. Client Follow-Up and Issue Resolution
Contact clients post-installation to gather feedback and address any concerns.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams promptly.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Submit daily project reports detailing installations, dispatches, complaints, and repeat jobs.
Use reports to identify training needs and enhance team performance.
6. Tool and Vehicle Management
Inspect tools weekly to ensure availability and functionality.
Oversee the maintenance and appropriate use of company vehicles.
7. Training Programs
Lead training programs for fundis to maintain a skilled and available workforce.

Reports to: Managing Director
This is a full time position. Compensation will be on a monthly basis
