Logistic Assistant

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
As the Logistics Assistant, you will provide essential support to the logistics department by
assisting with various tasks related to procurement, inventory management and logistics.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products through the supply
chain, maintaining accurate records and optimizing operational efficiency. You contribute to
the overall success of the retail company by assisting in the timely delivery of products to
stores and maintaining effective communication with internal teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Continuously review and follow up with branches on action taken on stock movement.
2. Plan and coordinate riders for single and online deliveries, and any other work as need
may arise.
3. Prepare fleet reports- repairs, renewal of licenses and update the same to the Director
4. Coordinating logistics activities, including transportation and delivery of products.
5. Generate reports following your key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights
to support decision-making and process improvements.
6. Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the logistics and make
recommendations for optimization.
7. Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives, suggesting ideas to streamline
operations and enhance efficiency.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of logistics best practices, standard
operating procedures (SOPs), and policies.
9. Ensure all vehicles and bikes are fueled daily according with mileage.
10. In charge of maintenance and servicing of all vehicles and bikes. To be done timely and
effectively.
11. Plan and coordinate for bulk deliveries with all sales team.
Any other tasks assigned by Supervisors/Directors from time to time.
