We are looking for a creative and proactive individual who is looking for an Accountant opportunity. The Accountant will be responsible in supporting the accounting department with daily financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Overview:

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in accounting

and financial management. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accurate financial

records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or ACCA certification preffered.
Minimum 3 years Experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Financial Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budget Management

Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
Track and report on variances, providing explanations for any discrepancies.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

Tax Compliance and Audit

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.

Process Improvement

Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems for increased efficiency.
Implement best practices in financial management.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support.
Act as a point of contact for financial queries and issues.
