Job Description
Our client is a technology company based in Nairobi dealing with Contact Centre and Data Solutions. As a business development executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth through prospecting, lead generation, and end-to-end management of the contact center pipeline.
Purpose of the role
The Senior Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through prospecting, lead generation, and end-to-end management of the contact center pipeline. This role includes identifying new markets, developing presentations and reports, and managing client relationships to ensure business objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Leads Generation:
Actively seek new business opportunities by identifying potential clients through research, networking, and cold outreach using multiple channels.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects for the contact center services.
2. End-to-End Pipeline Management:
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
Maintain, tracking & reporting accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the pipeline
3. Presentations & Reporting:
Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value of Adept Technologies’ contact center solutions.
Customize presentations to align with the specific needs and challenges of each potential client.
4. Market Identification:
Conduct market research to identify industries, regions, and sectors that demonstrate strong demand for contact center services.
Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to position Adept Technologies competitively.
5. Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring excellent service and addressing any concerns or challenges.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met and service delivery is smooth
Key Skills
Experience in business development, preferably in the technology service industry.
Proven track record of generating leads and managing sales pipelines effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong market research and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Pipeline Management.
Good collaboration skills especially collaborating with the Adept team to deliver products and services to market.
Strategic account management.
