About the client
Our client is a licensed SMS & Bulk Messaging Solutions and Content Services Provider. They refine business processes via smart technology and support Africa’s capacity by positively impacting lives and businesses with more options & opportunities through innovative, technology-driven solutions.

About the role:
You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our client’s business. You will be responsible for researching and identifying potential leads, establishing contact with decision-makers, and effectively communicating the value of our solutions.

Purpose of the role
Grow new business revenue by acquiring new customers and activating dormant customers
Account management by keeping existing customers buying.

Key responsibilities:
Meet established company sales targets
Research and identify potential leads within target industries and organizations to contribute to our pipeline.
Establish rapport and build relationships with key contacts and decision-makers.
Qualify these leads by uncovering customer pain points and effectively communicating how our solutions can address their needs.
Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients.
Gain familiarity with multiple industries, and stay updated on sales trends and innovative products for our clients.
Drive the end-to-end sales process.

Requirements:
● Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
● 2-3 years corporate & B2B sales experience especially in technology sales, bulk SMS sales.
● Relevant degree or diploma.
● Experience in business development with financial sectors i.e. banks, saccos
● Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
● Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
● Great networking skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication.
● Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Suite
● Proficiency in CRM usage
● Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
