Job Description

Our client is, based in Tanzania, looking for a skilled and motivated Café Manager to lead their team and ensure exceptional daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and hands-on experience in a fast-paced café environment, with expertise in American fast food, pastries, and smoothies. This role requires a proactive leader who can maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service while managing staff and inventory effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily café operations, including food production, customer service, and staff management.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in line with industry regulations.
• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and cost control to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
• Monitor and maintain café equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create and update menus, focusing on American fast food, pastries, and smoothies.

Qualifications & Skills:
• A degree or diploma in Food Production, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a café or fast-food environment, with a strong understanding of American fast food, pastries, and smoothies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Customer-focused with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in inventory management and cost control is a plus.
Salary:
Ksh 60,000.00 Monthly
