About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Fashion Designer specializing in Ladies' Clothing to join their team. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing collections that resonate with diverse customer preferences and elevate the brand’s presence in the women’s fashion market.

Key Responsibilities
Conceptualize and design ladies' clothing collections aligned with the brand’s vision and market demands.
Research emerging trends, fabrics, and global fashion styles to inform designs.
Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and digital prototypes for approval.
Develop cohesive seasonal stories and design themes.
Source high-quality fabrics and trims, collaborating with suppliers for cost-effective solutions.
Oversee production, ensuring designs are accurately translated into final garments.
Prepare comprehensive tech packs and supervise the sampling process.
Conduct fittings and implement adjustments for the perfect fit and aesthetic appeal.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align designs with customer and retail insights.
Stay updated on competitors and integrate feedback into future collections.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (advanced certifications are a plus).
3–5 years of experience as a fashion designer, preferably in ladies' clothing.
Expertise in garment construction, pattern-making, and textiles specific to women’s wear.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools; experience with 3D tools (e.g., CLO 3D) is a bonus.
Excellent hand and digital sketching abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
A passion for women’s fashion with a focus on innovation and inclusivity.

Preferred Skills
Experience in designing for diverse body types and inclusive sizing.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and costing structures for ladies' apparel.
