Job Overview:
Dovey Pharma Limited is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Medical Representative to join our team in Nairobi. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the ideal candidate will play a dual role by promoting our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and assisting in the execution of marketing strategies. This position requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, a background in Biochemistry or Pharmacy, and the ability to work collaboratively in driving both sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Medical Representative Duties:
• Promote Dovey Pharma’s products to healthcare professionals including doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals, ensuring they are well-informed about our products.
• Achieve sales targets by effectively detailing product information, responding to queries, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Organize product presentations and discussions with healthcare professionals to drive product adoption.
• Conduct regular market research and provide valuable feedback on competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs.
Marketing Support Duties:
• Collaborate with the marketing team in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and product awareness.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials, including brochures, samples, and digital content.
• Coordinate and participate in marketing events, such as medical conferences, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Provide insights on market needs and customer preferences to help shape future marketing strategies.
• Assist in the monitoring and reporting of marketing campaign effectiveness and sales performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry or Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare market.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with both sales and marketing teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to identify trends and insights.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
