Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Marketing Lead to spearhead our client acquisition efforts in the events space. This role will focus on developing strategies to onboard event organizers and help them leverage Travelo for seamless event management and promotion. If you have a passion for marketing, a strong understanding of the events industry, and a proven track record of acquiring clients, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Design and implement marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new event organizers, with a focus on showcasing Travelo’s benefits and features.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust marketing strategies for optimal results.
Client Outreach and Partnerships:

Build and nurture relationships with event organizers, event management companies, and venue operators.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to represent Travelo and establish partnerships.
Campaign Development:

Create targeted marketing campaigns across digital platforms to engage and convert event organizers.
Develop email marketing strategies to generate and nurture leads, using engaging and informative content.
Content and Resource Creation:

Collaborate with the content team to produce tailored materials, such as whitepapers, how-to guides, and case studies, that highlight the benefits of using Travelo for event management.
Manage social media content focused on event organizer engagement.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Track the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Prepare detailed reports on client acquisition metrics and campaign performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, product, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to onboarding and servicing event organizers.
Provide feedback to the product team based on client insights to enhance the user experience.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in a marketing role focused on client acquisition, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build lasting relationships.
Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Creative thinker with a passion for event marketing and a results-driven mindset.
Preferred:

Experience working with event organizers or in event marketing.
Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms.
