Job Description
The Auto Mechanical Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts and mechanical components. They ensure productivity targets are met and maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Audit and report inventory, making recommendations on restocking automotive parts and mechanical components.
• Team Leadership: Manage warehouse associates, monitor work, and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Operational Efficiency: Establish and enforce warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficiency.
• Goal Setting: Collaborate with executive management to set warehouse and team goals.
• Training: Lead training initiatives to improve employee performance.
• Compliance: Stay updated on federal and state safety regulations.
• Coordination: Communicate with other departments to ensure timely product shipment.
• Customer Service: Work with the manufacturer to process warranty work and resolve customer issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor of Science degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
