Driver Supervisor

Job summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Driver Supervisor to join our team. The Driver Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing our team of over 40 drivers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation services for staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
Develop and maintain schedules for drivers, ensuring optimal route planning and on-time deliveries.
Conduct regular training and safety sessions for drivers to promote best practices and compliance with regulations.
Monitor driver performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and serviced.
Handle driver-related administrative tasks, including timekeeping, performance evaluations, and record-keeping.
Respond to transportation-related emergencies and provide solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with transportation services.
Qualifications:
Post-high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in transportation or logistics is a plus.
Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Driver Supervisor or similar role in the automotive or transportation industry.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools.
Proficiency in speaking both English and French is a requirement for this position.
