Auto Electrician

JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of vehicles on behalf of Autostar Group clients in Central African Republic

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles, including wiring, batteries, alternators, and electronic systems.
• Install and maintain electrical components such as alarms, immobilizers, and GPS systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and determine necessary repairs.
• Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Provide estimates for repair costs and time required.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical expertise in automotive electrical systems.
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix complex electrical issues.
• Attention to detail to ensure all repairs and installations are performed correctly.
• Good communication skills to explain technical issues to customers.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including working in confined spaces.
• Certification in automotive electrical systems is preferred.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or an associate degree in automotive technology.
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Ability to speak both English and French will be an added advantage
