Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Oversee the daily operations of Autostar Group workshop, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in all activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of equipment and tools. Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Staff Coordination: Plan and coordinate workshop activities, including scheduling appointments and allocating tasks to technicians. Train staff on new technology, machinery, and safety protocols.
• Customer Relations: Communicate with clients about their needs, maintenance plans, and repair options. Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of tools, parts, and equipment. Order new supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and organization
• Budget Management: Oversee the workshop budget, ensuring cost control and quality. Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.

Qualifications:
• Education: A degree or diploma in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in managing an automotive workshop or similar environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and software
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of workshop operations and equipment.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments and trends.

Salary:
200.000,00 KES Monthly
