Job Description
Responsibilities
Actively promote and sell aftermarket auto parts to retail shops, garages, and individual car owners.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the product lineup and its features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
Conduct product demonstrations and organize promotional events to boost brand awareness and product sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, retailers, distributors, and auto repair shops.
Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Gather feedback from customers and retailers on product performance and potential improvements.
Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions, and market strategies to identify threats and opportunities.
Track and analyze the company's market share in the Kenyan aftermarket auto parts industry, identifying areas for growth.
Provide regular insights on competitor strengths and weaknesses to adjust promotional and sales strategies accordingly.
Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, customer trends, and gaps in the market.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, including weekly sales performance, customer feedback, promotional effectiveness, and market trends.
Analyze data to provide strategic recommendations aimed at increasing market share and sales volumes.
Track and analyze promotional and sales data to identify areas for improvement and suggest targeted actions.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales or promotional roles, preferably in the automotive or aftermarket auto parts industry.
Strong knowledge of the Kenyan automotive sector, with a focus on aftermarket parts and accessories.
Experience in market analysis, competition tracking, and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Kenya and other East African countries.
Fluency in English and Swahili
