Job Description
Emerge Egress Consulting is a HR Management & Training Consulting Firm established in 2017 based in Nairobi. In essence it focuses in Recruitment, Business & Marketing Strategy and Training Programs for various sectors. We partner with clients in various industries and sectors in order to meet their various needs.
Role Objective.
Our Engineering client in Nairobi deals in heavy machinery spare parts, accessories and fittings in the manufacturing, oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate should be competent and be able to work with various brands.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing hands on technical expertise regarding injector pumps and parts.
• Providing technical advice and support in supply, maintenance and calibration of injector pumps and parts.
• Inspect, repair and maintain injectors
• Perform tests and conduct routine maintenance and servicing on injectors
• Sourcing out cost of injector items.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting of machines
• Assist in record keeping i.e filing and stock taking.
• Attending to any emergency or directive given by our branch manager.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting.
• Dismantle, clean, and assemble Pump and Injectors of different brands.
• Assist in testing the received Pump/ Injectors as per job order and customer
• Assist in repairing the Pump/ Injectors with the required parts as per standard repair procedure.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor in case additional defective parts are found in the course of repairing/overhauling the Pump/ Injectors.
• Upon job completion, fill-out the Job Done report and submit for Quality Control & Billing.
• Support/ assist the workshop technical team whenever necessary.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Plant Mechanics or Diesel Engine Works
• At least 4 years’ experience in similar role
• Excellent technical knowledge in diesel engine works
• Excellent technical knowledge in operating an injector testing and calibration machine
• Knowledge in hydraulics is an added advantage
