Waste Water Treatment Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sewage and Waste Water Treatment Engineer to join our team at QMP Ltd., a leader in Meat Manufacturing and Processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater treatment, particularly in ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operations, with 8+ years of experience in project execution and handling. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct detailed feasibility studies, and ensure compliance with NEMA guidelines while driving innovation and continuous improvement in wastewater treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Wastewater Treatment Operations:
• Oversee daily operations of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring processes meet environmental standards and are optimized for efficiency.
• Monitor and manage treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical methods, to effectively treat and manage sewage and wastewater.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all equipment, including pumps, motors, and filtration systems.
Feasibility Studies and Technical Assessments:
• Conduct detailed feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate the viability of proposed wastewater treatment solutions.
• Consider factors such as site conditions, effluent characteristics, treatment technologies, and operational considerations in your evaluations.
Project Execution and Management:
• Lead the execution and handling of wastewater treatment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
• Interpret civil engineering drawings and apply basic civil knowledge to support project execution.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Integration:
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations teams to develop integrated solutions that meet the technical, commercial, and operational objectives of the projects.
• Ensure that all wastewater treatment solutions are aligned with the broader goals of the organization and meet regulatory compliance.
Environmental Compliance:
• Ensure all wastewater treatment processes comply with NEMA guidelines and other relevant environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit necessary environmental reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
Technical Guidance and Mentorship:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and excellence within the organization.
