Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmaceutical Technologist at DoveyPharma Limited located in Nairobi.The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for supporting administrative and clerical support to accounting teams, handling tasks like data entry, record-keeping, and basic bookkeeping. he/she will assist in financial transactions, invoice processing, and report generation, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

Duties and Responsibility
Accurately recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining financial records.
Managing and processing invoices for both accounts payable and receivable.
Performing bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Handling clerical tasks like answering phones, filing, and organizing documents.
Handling petty cash transactions and managing bank accounts.
supporting the credit control team by managing and following up on customer accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. They also assist in debt recovery efforts and may be involved in credit risk assessments.
Reconcile customer accounts with internal records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Generate reports on outstanding debts, payment trends, and other relevant data.
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting,
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports.
Organizational Skills: Managing and filing documents effectively.
Computer Proficiency: Using accounting software and Microsoft Office programs.
Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients.
Analytical Skills: Analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies.
