Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and updating financial records.
• Process invoices, track payments, and ensure accurate vendor records.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and assist in follow-ups.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Assist with payroll processing by gathering necessary data, updating payroll records, and assisting with employee inquiries.
• Help in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assist in preparing VAT returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and digital filing systems for easy access and future audits.
• Help in the preparation of budget reports by gathering relevant data and reviewing expenditure.
Skills & Qualifications:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of [1-2] years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills a plus), and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to collaborative efforts while also working independently.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
