Job Description

**CFO Intern**

**Job Summary:**

SmartPay Networks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CFO Intern to support our financial operations and strategic planning. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced financial environment, working closely with senior management. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and possess a strong analytical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn about all aspects of corporate finance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Assist with the management of cash flow and working capital.
* Conduct financial research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
* Support the preparation for audits and tax filings.
* Analyze financial data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Assist with the evaluation of investment opportunities.
* Support the management of relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
* Participate in financial meetings and presentations.

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced financial environment.
* **Note:** This is an unpaid internship for the first three months. Performance will be evaluated for potential compensation afterward.
Salary:
Ksh 200.00 Monthly
