About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Trainer Consultant to join our team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training and coaching the sales and merchandising teams, ensuring the adoption and execution of skills during and after the training program. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in FMCG, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver impactful training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training and Coaching:
Jointly train and support the lead facilitator during class sessions.
Take responsibility for field training, coaching, and assessment of the sales and merchandising teams.
Ensure skills adoption and execution during and after the training program.
2. Support in Curriculum Development:
Contribute to enriching the training curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the business.
3. Reporting and Analysis:
Develop and deliver monthly sales academy reports to clients, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
Identify gaps in skills or processes and make actionable recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
4-5 years experience in the FMCG sales
Experience in both direct-to-market and indirect/partner management is essential.
Proven experience in sales training, coaching, and developing sales teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams.
Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify gaps.
