Job Description

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, sales, and profitability of the
branch. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales growth,
and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong
background in sales, customer service, and team management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Branch Operations Management:
 Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and compliance
with company policies and procedures.
 Manage inventory levels, cash handling, and facility maintenance.
 Ensure the branch complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
2. Sales & Business Development:
 Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch targets and grow revenue.
 Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with customers and
clients.
 Monitor market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on growth opportunities.
3. Customer Service Excellence:
 Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
 Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively.
 Implement customer retention strategies to increase loyalty and repeat business.
4. Team Leadership & Development:
 Recruit, train, and develop branch staff to maximize their performance and potential.
 Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching and
feedback.
 Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and
collaboration.
5. Financial Management:
 Monitor branch budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
 Prepare financial reports and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
 Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
