Job Summary:
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of Pendant Solutions Ltd. This includes managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, conducting risk analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and guiding financial planning and strategy. You will play a key role in strategic decision-making and help drive efficiency across all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and cash flow management.
*Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
*Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans aligned with company objectives.
*Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (local tax laws, IFRS, etc.).
*Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
*Manage financial risk through appropriate controls, policies, and procedures.
*Provide financial insights to support business strategy, pricing, and investment decisions.
*Supervise and develop the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
*Implement and maintain robust financial systems and tools to support growth and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience:
*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
*Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a mid-size to large company.
*Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
*Proficiency in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar).
*Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
