We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sound Engineer with over 10 years of experience in recording, mixing, mastering, and live sound production. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex audio projects across music, film, broadcasting, and live events. This role requires both artistic sensibility and precision in sound quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Audio Recording & Production
Oversee recording sessions for music, film, TV, radio, podcasts, and live performances.
Operate and maintain professional audio equipment, microphones, and mixing consoles.
Mixing & Mastering
Balance and enhance audio elements to achieve desired tone, clarity, and impact.
Prepare final masters for distribution across various formats and platforms.
Live Sound Engineering
Manage front-of-house (FOH) and monitor mixing for concerts, conferences, and events.
Troubleshoot technical issues in high-pressure, live environments.
Technical Setup & Maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain studio or event sound systems.
Ensure all equipment meets safety, performance, and quality standards.
Collaboration with Creative Teams
Work closely with artists, directors, producers, and video editors to achieve audio goals.
Provide guidance on sound design, effects, and acoustics.
Project & Team Leadership
Lead and mentor junior sound technicians and assistants.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Quality Assurance
Conduct sound checks, monitor recording quality, and ensure consistent audio output.
Maintain detailed session logs and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or related field.
Experience: 10+ years in studio and/or live sound engineering, with leadership experience.
Proficiency in DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, etc.).
Expert knowledge of acoustics, signal flow, and sound processing techniques.
Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, for live events.
