Key Responsibilities
Story Research & Development
Identify, investigate, and develop compelling story ideas for print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
Conduct in-depth research, interviews, and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Writing & Reporting
Produce high-quality news articles, features, and investigative reports under tight deadlines.
Maintain a consistent voice and adhere to editorial standards and ethical guidelines.
Multimedia & Digital Content Creation
Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to enhance storytelling.
Utilize social media, podcasts, and digital tools to engage audiences and promote stories.
Editorial Collaboration
Work closely with editors to refine story angles, structure, and presentation.
Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to content strategy.
Breaking News Coverage
Respond quickly to breaking stories, providing timely and accurate updates.
Maintain readiness to work in fast-paced, high-pressure news environments.
Mentorship & Leadership

Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 10+ years in journalism, with a portfolio of published work in reputable outlets.

Proficiency in digital content management systems and multimedia tools.
Deep understanding of media law, ethics, and fact-checking standards.
Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, when news breaks.
