Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Law Specialist to provide legal expertise and support in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will advise management on legal risks, draft and review contracts, manage disputes, and represent the organization in legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on business operations, contracts, policies, and risk management.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization and ensure compliance.
Represent the organization in legal proceedings, regulatory hearings, or mediations.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and reports.
Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
Handle company secretarial duties such as board meeting minutes and statutory filings (if required).
Assist in dispute resolution and litigation management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); a Master’s degree or relevant postgraduate diploma is an advantage.
Licensed to practice law in [insert jurisdiction].
5–10+ years of experience in legal practice, corporate law, or regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of commercial, labor, contract, and corporate law.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
