Line Cook – Caribbean Cruises Ltd
Position: Line Cook
Department: Culinary / Food & Beverage
Reports To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Location: Onboard Caribbean Cruises Ltd vessels

Position Summary
As a Line Cook at Caribbean Cruises Ltd, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to our company’s standards, ensuring that all meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and with excellence in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations while adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Assist in the receiving, storage, and rotation of food supplies.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
Ensure proper setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after each shift.
Comply with health and safety policies, including proper handling of equipment and kitchen tools.
Support special dining events, themed nights, and guest requests as directed.
Monitor and minimize waste and spoilage.

Qualifications
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a line cook or equivalent in a hotel, cruise ship, or restaurant environment.
Knowledge of international cuisine and ability to work with various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Willingness to live and work onboard a cruise ship for extended periods (typically 6–8 month contracts).
