Ducorp Trading Kenya Limited is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of the agricultural sector by providing high-quality products such as feed ingredients, animal proteins, feed additives, and stock feeds. The company also offers expert consultation services to farmers through farm visits to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions for productivity and sustainability.

Role Description
This is a contract Business Development Manager role located on-site in Athi River. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing growth strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

Job Responsibilities​
1.Market Development:​
Responsible for developing and maintaining the local feed raw material market,establishing and maintaining long-term cooperative relations with major feed processing companies; According to the company's goals,formulate market development plans and implement them effectively to enhance the company's reputation and market share in the industry.
​2.Customer Management:​
Responsible for exploring potential customers,actively contacting target customers,and ;​Manage existing customer resources,maintain good customer relationships,and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.​
3.Sales Channel Construction:​
Use personal industry resources and channels to quickly establish a stable sales network for the company;​Analyze market trends and customer needs, and formulate corresponding sales strategies.
​4.Business Negotiation and Contract Management:​
Lead business negotiations with customers,be responsible for contract signing and follow-up during execution;​Ensure smooth transaction processes and handle problems encountered during sales.
​5.Market Information Collection:
​Continue to pay attention to industry trends,regularly collect and analyze market information and competitor situations;​Provide data support and market suggestions for company decision-making.​
6.Team work and reporting:​Workcloselywiththecompany'sinternalteamtoensuretheefficientoperationofbusinessprocesses;​Regularlyreportbusinessprogressandperformancetothecompany'smanagement.​

Job requirements
1.Education background:
Bachelor's degree in marketing,international trade,agriculture-related majors is preferred
​2.Work experience:​
At least 5 years of sales experience in feed raw material trade or related industries;​
Have rich connections and existing sales resources in the local feed industry in Kenya;
​3.Skill requirements:
Excellent market insight and business development capabilities;
Excellent negotiation and communication skills,able to complete project negotiations independently;
Familiar with the operating procedures of feed raw material trade and have certain contract management knowledge;
4.Language skills: fluent English and Swahili communication skills;​
5.Other requirements:​Have strong stress resistance and be able to achieve goals in a dynamic market environment;​Have a high sense of responsibility and good team work skills.​​

Must be Kenyan-Indian or Muslim for consideration.
