Internship Opportunity: Marketing Intern

Are you a motivated individual looking to kick start your career in marketing? We’re offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Marketing Associate. This role will give you hands-on experience in customer engagement, sales, and direct marketing strategies.

Location: Nairobi
Duration: 2 months
Compensation: Ksh 5,000 + airtime + transport allowance + lunch allowance + training and development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Wotech services.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competition.
• Create and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and proposals.
• Support in managing digital platforms (social media, email marketing, and basic website updates).
• Engage in customer outreach through calls, emails, and direct marketing.
• Assist in organizing promotions, events, and activations to increase brand visibility.
• Compile and analyze feedback and reports to improve marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential leads and opportunities.

Skills needed:
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
• Research and analytical skills to understand market dynamics.
• Ability to create engaging content (written and visual) for various platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of marketing tools
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:
• A graduate in Marketing or a related field.
• Experience with social media management or content creation is a plus.
• Basic understanding of marketing tools
• Knowledge of customer outreach and engagement strategies.
• Basic design skills is an added advantage.
