Job Description

Bon and Drew Associates, a leading audit firm in Nairobi, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional audit, assurance, and advisory services to our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Plan, supervise, and review the work of audit juniors to ensure quality and efficiency in audit execution.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
• Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to management and clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements relevant to clients.
• Foster strong client relationships by providing excellent service and support.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (K)/ACCA certification or equivalent; membership with ICPAK is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a reputable audit firm. Experience in a manufacturing set up is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in audit software ( Knowledge of Draftworx Audit Software will be an added advantage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
