Job Description
Ensure staff keep high pharmacy standards, being well organized at all times, and that all policies, procedures, and controls are followed.
Schedule regular pharmacy visits to ensure compliance in all areas of customer services, branch operations, and loss prevention.
Oversee the entire inventory related to the pharmacies, especially the branch receipt and branch transfers done on time.
Ensure no deadstock, expiries, and loss of drugs at the branches.
Ensure business demands are aligned with the market trends.
Ensure branches keep records of the refill clients.
Ensure all customer service initiatives are in place, dealing with issues quickly and courteously.
Review entire pharmacy orders placed by respective pharmacists/pharmaceutical technologists.
Ensure staff at the branches are trained on pharmacy practices and CME training.
Ensure branches comply with the PPB guidelines.
Ensure good interaction and maintain positive customer relationships concerning correspondence support and back office phone.
Ensure the pharmacy complies with the entire laws governing the pharmacy practice.
Ensure all staff are doing as expected in the best practices.
Ensure drugs are handled as per cap 244.
Ensure quality assurance in the branches.
Ensure all prescription drugs and controlled substances are secure and safe in the pharmacy.
Educate customers on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
Performing staff pharmacist duties when required.
Perform any other duties assigned.
