Route Sales Representative - Electrical & Household Items

Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and grow sales in your assigned territory by servicing existing customers and prospecting for new clients.
● Promote a wide range of electrical and household items to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
● Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and key decision-makers to ensure product placement and visibility.
● Conduct product demonstrations, provide training, and resolve customer issues.
● Ensure timely delivery of products, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of sales and orders.
● Identify new sales opportunities, upsell products, and meet or exceed sales targets.
● Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on competitors, products, and customer preferences.

Skills & Qualifications:
● Sales Experience: At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in electrical or household products.
● Product Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical equipment and household goods, including installation, usage, and benefits.
● Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster long-term partnerships with clients.
● Sales-Driven: Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
● Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage your route efficiently.
● Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to handle customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
● Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple accounts, orders, and priorities effectively.
● Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
● Experience working in route sales and retail sales.
● Knowledge of the electrical and household goods market trends and customer needs.
