About the client
Our client is a leading provider of smart water solutions designed to enhance water management for developers, property managers, and borehole operators. They are committed to delivering innovative water meter technology that supports accurate billing, sustainable resource use, and improved operational efficiency for residential and commercial properties.

About the role
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building relationships with small to medium-sized developers. This role will focus on promoting and selling smart water meters, targeting smaller developments, caretakers, property managers, and borehole operators supplying residential homes.

Purpose of the role
Expanding the customer base, ensuring the implementation of our smart water solutions to improve water usage and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Route Planning & Market Penetration:
Develop and execute a structured route plan aimed at identifying and engaging with small to medium-sized developers, borehole operators, and other ideal customers in key residential areas.
2. Pipeline Building & Lead Generation:
Proactively identify and build a pipeline of potential clients through networking, market research, and targeted outreach to developers, property owners and smaller property management firms.
3. Client Discovery & Needs Assessment:
Conduct discovery meetings with potential clients to understand their water management needs and present tailored smart water meter solutions to address challenges such as billing accuracy and resource management.
4. Lead Nurturing & Relationship Management:
Nurture relationships with developers, caretakers, and borehole operators, maintaining regular follow-ups and building trust to ensure long-term partnerships.
5. Presentations & Value Proposition Communication:
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations on the benefits of smart water meters, clearly communicating their value proposition and differentiators to stakeholders such as caretakers, property managers, and decision-makers.
6. Referral Generation & Client Expansion:
Leverage existing relationships to ask for referrals and expand our client’s reach within the property development and borehole water vending communities.

Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology, water management, or utilities sectors, with a focus on customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with the clients.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly convey the value of complex technology solutions to a non-technical audience.
Experience in route planning, pipeline building, and managing a sales funnel effectively from discovery to close
Ability to assess client needs, identify pain points, and present appropriate solutions to meet water management challenges.
Strong reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and results for ongoing performance tracking.

NB: Access to a car/motorbike for easy mobility. Our client will provide mileage.
Salary:
60.000,00 KES Monthly
