Job Description
The Technical Manager will ensure smooth operation of Autostar Group workshops, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and delivering excellent customer service.
:
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the workshops, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Staff Management: Supervise and lead a team of technicians, auto mechanics, auto electricians panel beaters, painters and other staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards and customer expectations.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing exceptional service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of tools, parts, and equipment, and order new supplies as needed.
• Budget Management: Oversee the workshop budget, controlling costs and ensuring financial efficiency.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to the team, troubleshooting issues and advising on best practices.
• Scheduling: Plan and coordinate workshop activities, including scheduling appointments and allocating tasks to technicians.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on workshop performance, including productivity, quality, and financial reports.
Qualifications:
• Education: A relevant degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of workshop operations and management.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO, PMP, or other industry-specific qualifications will be an added advantage.
