The Institutional Centre for Reproductive Health (ICFRH) is a Kenyan non-governmental organization dedicated to improving health outcomes through rigorous research, capacity building, and community-based interventions. Position Summary
ICFRH is seeking qualified and experienced Study Nurses to support a multi-site Malaria Research Study. The study will be conducted in Makueni, Garissa, Wajir, Kisumu, Nairobi, Kilifi, Kakamega, Bomet, and Kericho counties. The successful candidates will be responsible for participant care, protocol compliance, and accurate data collection in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants in line with the study protocol.

Obtain informed consent and ensure participant confidentiality at all times.

Perform clinical assessments, including vital signs, sample collection, and follow-up visits.

Monitor for and report adverse events per regulatory requirements.

Accurately complete case report forms and electronic data entry tools.

Coordinate with site investigators and other research staff to ensure study timelines are met.

Maintain proper storage and handling of clinical and laboratory supplies.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with involvement in a clinical or epidemiological research study.

Must hold valid NIH Human Subjects Protection and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certifications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English and Kiswahili. Proficiency in local languages spoken in the study regions will be an added advantage.

Willingness to travel and work in field settings under minimal supervision.
