Job Description

The Regional Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations and technical performance of teams within a designated region. This role ensures the effective execution of projects, maintenance activities, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate must have a strong background in Electrical Engineering to support technical troubleshooting, infrastructure upgrades, and the implementation of best practices in electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Support:

Lead a team of field engineers and technicians in the maintenance and installation of electrical systems.

Provide technical guidance on power systems, electrical infrastructure, and troubleshooting.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company safety policies.

Project & Operational Management:

Plan, coordinate, and execute regional projects related to power systems, installations, and maintenance.

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct site visits to assess work quality and provide solutions for technical challenges.

Team Supervision & Development:

Oversee and manage a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring clear role assignments and productivity.

Conduct training and mentorship programs to enhance team competency.

Evaluate team performance and recommend career development initiatives.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders within the region.

Provide timely reports and updates on ongoing projects and operational challenges.

Address customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure all electrical work adheres to national and international electrical codes.

Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in project execution.

Monitor adherence to safety procedures, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, codes, and best practices.

Experience with power distribution systems, generators, transformers, and backup power solutions is an advantage.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and performing root cause analysis.
