Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Animal Health Specialist at Kenya Poultry Farmers Limited in Kisumu. We are looking for a passionate animal health specialist licensed by the Kenya Veterinary Board specialised in poultry. You are hardworking, excellent at communication and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. It is your responsibility to ensure quality chicken production standards in cooperation with smallholder farmers. We are looking to work with someone who is interested in growing with us.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in poultry
- Communication and Customer Service skills
- Registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board
- Experience in farm visits
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Degree in Animal Health or related field
- Experience working with MS Office

Responsibilities
- Provide extension services to KPF farmers
- Assist farmers & KPF farms achieve top performance
- Sales of farm inputs
- Collect and compile daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Educate and train farmers on best farm practices
- Reduce use of antibiotics on farms

The salary range for this position is 20-25.000/month depending on experience and educational background, with strong possibilities for growth.
