Job Title: Change Management Expert
Location: Kenya & Djibouti

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Change Management Expert to support the successful implementation of a tracking system and RFID equipment for freight trucks across Kenya and Djibouti. The Change Management Expert will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions in processes, systems, and practices by applying change management strategies, providing training, and facilitating the adoption of new technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT and be proficient in both English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to assess the training needs of employees affected by the implementation of the electronic cargo tracking system. Identify skill gaps, change readiness levels, and potential barriers to adoption through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and organizational assessments.
- Design comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to the specific roles and responsibilities of different user groups within the organization. Develop training modules, presentations, job aids, and e-learning courses covering system functionalities, workflow changes, and best practices for using the tracking system effectively.
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs for system users and trainers.
- Create comprehensive training materials and system manuals.

2. User Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for relevant users to ensure effective system usage.
- Train internal trainers to support ongoing system education.

3. Change Impact Analysis:
- Conduct gap analysis and identify root causes affecting change implementation.
- Determine appropriate solutions to address challenges in the change process.

4. Change Program Governance:
- Establish and manage a governance structure to ensure smooth implementation and accountability throughout the change program.

5. Change Management Strategy:
- Utilize change management methodologies, processes, and tools to develop strategies that promote the adoption of changes required by the project.
- Assess the impact of changes and readiness of stakeholders to adopt new practices and technology.

6. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Design and manage key communication strategies to engage stakeholders and support transparency throughout the change process.
- Identify key stakeholders and assess their readiness for the change, providing ongoing support as needed.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in both English and French is required.
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience in change management, preferably with experience in technology or systems implementation projects.

Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs and materials.
- Expertise in change management methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to assess the impact of changes and identify effective solutions.
