Job Overview:
Classiq Cutz Barbershop & Spa, Molo is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing a variety of grooming services including haircuts, beard grooming, and shaves. The Barber will ensure clients receive top-notch services in a clean, comfortable, and stylish environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality haircuts, beard trims, and shaves according to client preferences
• Perform additional grooming services such as hair colouring and scalp treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and tools
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by listening to client needs and providing personalised services
• Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques
• Recommend appropriate products and services to clients
• Manage appointments and maintain accurate client records
• Uphold the shop’s standards for customer service and professionalism
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Barber
• Proficiency in using barbering tools such as clippers, razors, and scissors
• Strong understanding of hair types and grooming techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and a passion for the grooming industry
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with modern and traditional barbering techniques
• Familiarity with providing additional services such as hair colouring and facials
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Manual dexterity to handle barbering tools
• Good hand-eye coordination
